A New state of art Library worth 4,680 sq.mt. Constructed is a generous donation received from "Walchand Hirachand Memorial Trust" Mumbai. The Library at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, Maharashtra was renamed "Ajit Gulabchand Central Library".
The spacious library of the college holds the total 107355 Reading Material Collection. Consisting of 55897 Books, 38412 Book Bank Books, 3474 Dissertations,13064 Bound Volumes of Technical / Non-Technical Journals, Magazines, accumulated over last six decades.
It subscribes to total 121 Technical (96), Science (13) and General (12) Journal / Magazines.We have received 839 Online E-Journals including IEEE(497), ASCE(36), ASME (31) and 2325 online E-Books Springer(1890) & Videeya (435). It issues more than 1230+ Book Bank sets to the all students including Free Book Bank Scheme.
It provides Intranet based Online Public Access Catalogue campus-wide facility to all readers and also allows open access facility to all members. Library is having Membership of DELNET, New Delhi for Inter Library Loan, Reference facility and document delivery services. Library is also participate N-LIST Inflibnet program through membership for e-journal and e-books.
Reading Hall facility is available round the clock for full year and provides study room facility during normal and extended hours.
